Our Services: Project Managements

Program Management entails the coordinated planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, and directing of a portfolio of projects in order to achieve clearly defined business objectives. When there is a need to execute multiple inter-dependent projects in a similar timeframe, we often recommend that they bundle those projects together and implement such an approach.

Advantages in doing so include:
  • Single point accountability
  • Efficient utilization of shared resources
  • Consistent cost, schedule, safety, and progress reporting
  • Incentives to accumulate and analyze historical cost data
  • Measurement of actual performance against established
    benchmarks and metrics
  • Greater ability to control safety
  • Lower total installed cost
  • Fewer owner resources required to effectively manage the
    work

Majority of our managers are accustomed to leading proj ects within the umbrella of a Program Management agreement, and our senior level managers have significant experience leading Program Management teams. Our target is for our clients to broaden our responsibilities beyond those of a conventional Program Manager to include the engineering, procurement, and management of both capital and maintenance projects on a facility level.

Our project management unit bears ultimate responsibility for ensuring that our projects are carefully planned, staffed, engineered, and constructed in accordance with client requirements and the deliverables that we produce.

Our successful track record is largely as a result of our project managers’ commitment to fostering long-term relationships and building hands-on project teams to support each client’s unique business needs. One way in which this is achieved is by dedicating resources to specific clients as appropriate. Our experience has proven that this practice improves interaction and communication, and maintains a continuity of processes,
systems, and standards.

SK Ray’s project management unit offers the following services: Coordination and Planning, Communication and Documentation, Schedule Development and Control, Scope Control, Cost and Status Reporting, Cost Estimating, Value Engineering, Procurement Support & Construction Support.
